Finally there has been some news on the domestic Renewable Heat Incentive. However it is not really what we were looking for. The government has announced that the start of the domestic RHI scheme will not now be October 2012, but instead sometime ‘from Summer 2013′. A consultation on this proposals is planned for September 2012. So watch this space. There is some good news though. The RHI premium payment scheme is to be continued, worth £950 for each biomass installation. Pre-registration for potential applicants for this scheme is opening on 2nd April 2012
